Job Purpose:

Develop and coordinate the implementation of the local HR policies and people management programs within the organization in order to ensure that business goals are achieved and the right talent is available in the right positions at the right time. Ukraine workforce includes three business-directions with a total of approx. 850 employees.

Reports to the HR Manager in Europe

HR Business Partnes has 10 subordinates (direct and indirect)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the local management team in Ukraine to ensure HR aspects of the business strategy are addressed in a timely manner; act as the HR business partner for local managers;
  • Develop and coordinate implementation of local HR policies, to ensure compliance with local legislation and alignment with corporate HR policies;
  • Negotiate and consult with relevant employee representatives, including trade unions on relevant terms and conditions, as well as people related topics which require consultation;
  • Manage the HR team and payroll department, including hiring and development of staff;
  • Manage the full people life-cycle at the location, including recruiting, college relations, promotions, relocations and terminations;
  • Participate in HR projects, including reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions;
  • Organize talent talks and ensure goal & development plans are in place;
  • Organize learning & development for colleagues at the location;
  • Manage employee grievances and disciplinary cases;
  • Responsible for managing all HR related administration including payroll.

Qualification & experience:

  • University degree/diploma or equivalent in HR related field
  • Proven people management experience
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR practices
  • 5+ years HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or agricultural environment


  • English fluent is a must
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
