The role
The Head of Logistics and Execution department with responsibility in organizing, forwarding and controlling of cargo flows via company' supply chain from an origination point to a destination market in the most efficient way. The role covers both internal (trucks, railcars, barges, storage) and external (vessel) logistics. You will be responsible for the team of 15 professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily operational planning and supervision
- Exploring and development of the new logistic channels
- Service contracts terms negotiation
- Business partnering with Trade, Legal, Finance, Assets departments
- Ongoing operational and cost efficiency
- Supervision of ISCC, HACCP etc programs and initiatives
- Monthly grains stock monitoring and reporting
- Coordination of export vessel execution
- Coordination of river, truck and railway execution
- Processes optimization
- Supervision of departmental IT systems usage and development
- Liason with related the State regulatory agencies and authorities
- Participation in new projects development
- Make sure the compliance procedures are implemented at all operational stages
- Effective operational troubleshooting
- Operational costs reconciliation for monthly accounts closure
Qualification & experience
- University education, an MBA is a plus, Agri specialization is a plus
- Practical knowledge of sea logistics, maritime freight and supply chain
- Trading/logistic experience in the grain and oilseed business is a plus
- Proven management experience
